Rep. Volz testifies on his bill to increase number of nurses in Washington state
Rep. Mike Volz, R-Spokane, testifies before the Post Secondary committee on improving the state code around the licensing of nurses to combat the labor shortage in hospitals. Volz’s legislation, House Bill 1417, would expand options for nurse licensing to be accepted from multiple states around Washington, improving the nurse candidate pool for local medical facilities.
